Holm brings more than 20 years of experience in critical communications. He represents a strong combination of deep engineering expertise, strategic vision, and a clear focus on execution. His mission: to further develop proven technologies, accelerate new software-driven approaches, and consistently align innovation with the needs of customers and partners.
“I’m very pleased to return to a company I’ve had the opportunity to help shape extensively, and to take on this responsibility in a new role,” says Hauke Holm. “I’m especially looking forward to working closely with the team again, further integrating technological excellence, market proximity, and sustainable growth, and actively shaping the future of critical communications.”
Holm’s return comes at a time of increasing technological and regulatory momentum: cyber resilience, NIS2, KRITIS requirements, and the AI Act are fundamentally reshaping the framework for providers of critical communications. At the same time, the global threat landscape from cyberattacks is intensifying significantly. While Holm will be responsible for advancing TETRA and MCX solutions as well as the company’s strategic technology direction, Gerald Nolte, in his roles as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief IT Officer (CIO), will focus on strengthening cyber defense, further developing the IT architecture, and integrating security and AI topics into the overall strategy.
“We are responding to the growing demands for security, regulation, and digital sovereignty,” says CEO Martin Hucke. “With Hauke Holm and Gerald Nolte leading our technology divisions, we have created the conditions at HMF to further drive innovation, security, and growth in equal measure—and to continue supporting our customers reliably and with outstanding expertise in an increasingly challenging environment.”
