HARTING is extending the Han-Compact® series with a hood in plastic featuring combined straight and lateral cable outlets. These are designed for use with cable clamp of size M20. It is supplied with both cable outlets closed. Simply turning a cable clamp, optionally straight and/or lateral, opens the corresponding cable outlet.
This results in improvements in logistics procedures for customers, since only one article number must be kept for several application possibilities and the particular application case can be selected flexibly. Especially in combination with Han® Q applications with Quick Lock connection technology, this housing is optimally suited for field installation.
The hood with straight and lateral cable outlet is suitable for all contact inserts of the Han-Compact® range. In the closed condition it fulfills the protection class IP65 in accordance with DIN EN 60 529 and the flammability class V 0 in accordance with UL 94. The application temperature range is between -40° Celsius and 125° Celsius. The housing has the article number 19 12 008 0425 and is available from stock.
