Through the initiative of the non-profit organization atmosfair gGmbH, Mam Rashan is now to be provided with a 300 kWp PV-plant in combination with an energy storage solution. The major financing comes from the foundation for development cooperation “Stiftung Entwicklungs-Zusammenarbeit Baden-Württemberg (SEZ)” which is attached to the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Additionally, several expert firms from the PV-industry support the initiative through services and know-how transfer on a donation basis. The PV-plant is to be commissioned end of June 2018.
As an experienced PV-specialist, greentech contributes to this project with supporting the operation & maintenance of the plant. As a part of this greentech provides special trainings to the local electricians in the field of monitoring and maintenance. The trainings include the following aspects:
- General introduction into PV-systems
- Health & Safety
- Monitoring & data analysis
- Preventive maintenance
- Reactive and corrective maintenance
„We are proud to support this great project with our know-how“ says Jörn Carstensen, Managing Partner at greentech. “Especially in the beginning of PV-projects many challenges regarding the correct setup and a stable operation occur. We look forward to support the local staff with our knowledge and advice.”
„The support for this initiative through the PV-industry is truly remarkable. We are pleased by the fact that greentech supports the operation and maintenance of the PV-plant in the camp. Thus, we can provide the people in Mam Rashan with a stable and clean energy supply and at the same time build important technical knowledge in the region.
