ZELOS - The future of customs communication
The ATLAS application ZELOS brings a breath of fresh air to customs communication. This innovative application, launched by German customs, enables the centralised exchange of documents, enquiries and/or statements. Traditional means of communication such as e-mail, telephone and the good old fax machine are no longer required. However, German customs does not provide its own participant software in this context
FORMAT provides the fully certified participant software
With the ZELOS application, FORMAT is the first company to offer participant software that is fully certified by German customs. This is connected to the customs ATLAS application and offers the opportunity to take customs processing to a new level. Even though the ZELOS ATLAS application is not yet mandatory, FORMAT is ideally equipped to provide tomorrow’s benefits today.
Use functions
With every customs declaration, customs queries may arise, or documents may be requested for inspection. Documents that customs should retrieve automatically and without further action can be stored in advance or sent proactively.
This means that incoming enquiries can be answered and requested documents can be sent quickly. External e-mail programmes or fax machines are no longer necessary - everything is bundled in one application.
