eZ Announces Record Breaking Success at Annual Conference and 2011 Award Winners

(PresseBox) (Skien, Norway, ) Organizations From Around the World Gathered at the 2011 London Conference to Share Best Practices and Honor This Year's Award Recipients.

eZ Systems, provider of the award winning Open Source Web Content Management Platform, today announced the 2011 Award Winners from the eZ Conference held in London, June 16-17, 2011. The event drew more than 260 attendees from over 19 different countries showcasing the continued commitment within the eZ community.

This year's theme was built around "Multi-Channel Communication" and the agenda was packed with both business and technical sessions. The event was kicked-off by eZ CEO Gabriele Viebach exploring the next generation of digital business models. Sessions at the event ranged from business to technical including topics such as cloud computing, content experience, content mobility, multichannel business enablement. Speaker highlights included:

The highlight of the event was the eZ Awards, an annual event to recognize the most innovative eZ customers, community members and partners.

The Wall Street Journal Asia has launched their first eZ Publish based portal in Japan. The simple and intuitive usability of eZ Publish, ability to scale, handle Multilanguage, multi-access and eZ's ability to easily integrate with 3rd party tools all played an important role in Wall Street Journal Asia choosing eZ Publish as their platform.

Site of the Year, The Banker of The United Kingdom

eZ Business Partner Vision with Technology worked with specialized teams at The Financial Times to convert The Banker site to eZ Publish with many enhancements and integrations to give the premium quality The Banker customers expect. Some of the impressive site innovations included subscription payment, integrated community and premium content feeds. The Banker has been providing global financial intelligence since 1926 and has built a reputation for objective and incisive reporting on major events

Solution of the Year, Odoscope of Germany

eZ Odoscope let's you analyze website your website. Customizable views on the website data empowers you to define your own KPIs and quickly adapt the website. eZ Odoscope is fully integrated into the eZ Publish Backend. Rising Star of the Year, 07 Web of Norway

07 Web is development and consulting company based in Oslo, Norway. They have delivered custom content management solutions for our customers since 2000, based on a platform developed in-house and in 2010 began delivering solutions with eZ Publish.
