ETH chooses Primo as a basis for their university wide knowledge portal and enters into a development cooperation with Ex Libris.
Ex Libris Germany is pleased to announce that following a thorough selection process, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) has selected the Primo® discovery and delivery solution from Ex Libris.
Primo is going to be the key element of the ETH Knowledge Portal which goes beyond a common library project.
"We evaluated a wide range of different products, and concluded that Primo is the best platform to fulfill our goal of integrating all information resources from the ETH-Library and ETH Zurich,” explained Arlette Piguet, project manager of the Knowledge Portal at ETH Zurich
"We were impressed of the deep knowledge from the Ex Libris team in this area and we are looking forward to work together in a close cooperation on this very strategic project" added Andreas Kirstein, head of library IT and associate library director at ETH.
