Electronic Tools is shipping XCalibur1331, a high-performance, conduction- or air-cooled, 6U VME solution featuring Freescale Semiconductor’s dual-core MPC8640D processor
- Freescale MPC 8640D processor with dual PowerPC e600 cores up to 1.25 GHz
- Two channels of up to 4 GB of DDR2-533 ECC Memory with ECC
- Up to 4 GB of NAND flash and 256 MB of NOR flash, with redundancy
- Two PrPMC/XMC slots
- Four Gigabit Ethernet ports
- Three USB 2.0 ports
- One SATA 3.0 Gb/s port
- 2eSST VME interface
“XCalibur1331 is a wonderful platform for military, industrial and communication customers targeting high end PowerPC processors.
