- Two Kofi Annan Fellowships dedicated to victims of global conflict
- Scholarships for 2016 intakes of Master’s in Management and Full-time MBA programs
ESMT President Jörg Rocholl explained, “As a business school founded on the principles of responsible leadership and with a very diverse and international student body, it is imperative that we support the education of those forced to flee their home countries. A degree from ESMT prepares graduates for employment as an entrepreneur or in business within Germany or around the world.”
ESMT is accepting applications for the one-year Full-time MBA program, starting in January 2016, as well as for the Master’s in Management program, which begins in September 2016. Candidates for the MBA program are required to have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of work experience. The pre-experience Master’s in Management program, lasting 22 months, targets young people who have a bachelor’s degree in analytical subjects such as finance, economics, science, mathematics, or engineering. Students from all backgrounds with a proven ability in analytic problem solving are welcome to apply.
Since 2010 ESMT has awarded Kofi Annan Fellowships for students from economically less developed countries. In the context of its 125th anniversary, the global financial services provider Allianz SE funded a total of 125 scholarships over five years at ESMT, 35 especially for Kofi Annan Fellowships. Funding through donations made to the FRIENDS OF ESMT (Gesellschaft der Freunde und Förderer e.V.) also enable Kofi Annan Fellowships. Since 2010, ESMT has awarded 18 such full scholarships.
