Magnetic stripe cards, chip cards, prepaid scratch cards – at Cartes Fair in Paris (November 7 – 9, 2006) all of them can be seen. In Hall 4, booth 4J090 Elatec GmbH will present its wide range of card-related products to interested visitors.
In the telecommunications area, prepaid scratch cards as well as GSM cards, packages and applications and the electronic transaction system ELVOS will be shown. The Banking Division will have credit cards like VISA or Master Card on display, but also loyalty cards and EMV chip cards. Last but not least, the RFID division will demonstrate a variety of transponders and readers ranging from low-cost to high-end versions. The readers of the TWN family cover the frequency range from 125 kHz to 13.56 MHz in a single device and should therefore be of special interest. Typically, these devices will be used as an extension of a card solution used for access control. The new 4-Port-UHF-Gen2 readers should also attract attention since up to four UHF antennas can be connected to them directly, without having to use a concentrator. Thus, it is very easy to set up an RFID gate.
