For the CNC milling machine manufacturer DATRON AG, the focus in May lies on SMT Hybrid Packaging in Nuremberg, Germany. The trade show, specializing in microelectronics and system integration, attracts hundreds of exhibitors from Germany and the rest of the world as well as ten thousands of visitors every year. At its booth, DATRON displayed its high speed CNC milling machine M8Cube and the precision dispensing system PR0400 - with great success.
"In three days, we created a great deal of leads, many of them being new customers", says Peter Ries, head of sales for CNC systems in Germany. SMT continues to be an important yearly event for DATRON. Ries: "Many of our customers are working in the sector of electronic manufacturing services. For efficient production of front panels and housings, rapid prototyping, machining of aluminium and plastics as well as precise material dispensing, DATRON machines are valued around the globe."
