For the fourth time, DATRON AG was attended the International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne. This year, the mechanical engineering specialist focused on the versatility and adaptability of its innovative dental technologies and provided the visitors with optimal CAD / CAM product solutions thanks to its industrial know-how.
In particular the compatibility of DATRON machine systems in the hybrid production process represented a main attraction for trade visitors from the dental sector at this year's IDS. Together with its cooperation partners Concept Laser and Follow Me! DATRON AG offered an ideal process solution for the post-processing of laser-melted, dental implant applications and thus illustrated the advantages of connecting two previously independent technologies.
The workpiece can be quickly positioned, using a special calibration method of the high-precision DATRON C5 milling machine and the DATRON D5 LS milling machine with linear scales (B 79 cm x D 119 cm x H 191 cm). After the subsequent subtractive process components convinces with an excellent surface and highest precision.
The compact DATRON C5 with automation proved at IDS that the influence of industrial machine applications is worthwhile in the dental milling center. Due to the 5-axis machining and the lathe milling, the machine system fulfills highest demands in the dental field and sets sustainable standards for individual machining processes.
Visitors at the DATRON booth were also able to experience a continuous expansion process of the high-quality CAD/CAM product range in the tool area.
