Users are demanding more and more of hoses and hose lines in terms of cleanliness and germ-free quality. At Anuga Food Tec (booth C084 in hall 5.1) from March 27 to 30, 2012, in Cologne, ContiTech is presenting no fewer than two hoses that ensure a high standard of hygienic safety: the FLUOROPAL® Food + Drink and the latest-generation PURPLE SNAKE®.
The FLUOROPAL® Food + Drink is a sturdy, multi-purpose hose developed for use both in the food and beverage industry and in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry. Its white, smooth, non-porous inner lining made of high-grade Teflon is especially well suited for the passage of liquids with a heavy grease and oil content. Absolutely odor- and taste-neutral, the lining of the FLUOROPAL® Food + Drink hose conforms to regulations laid down by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). ContiTech's new premium hose is resistant to the most commonly used cleansing agents and disinfectants and virtually all chemicals. It can withstand constant temperatures as high as 100°C, with intermittent peaks of up to 150°C.

The PURPLE SNAKE® is the No. 1 hose under the world's beer hoses. In the latest-generation PURPLE SNAKE®, ContiTech has optimized not just the flexible hose's cleaning and disinfecting properties. It shares the booth with HSI Schlauch und Armaturentechnik, a technical trade partner based in Mülheim an der Ruhr.
