Web App for NAFTA Region Finds Suitable ContiTech Air Springs

Mobile service offer for the NAFTA spare parts market / Product information on suitable ContiTech air springs displayed directly on smartphones / Product information in imperial units

(PresseBox) (Hannover, ) ContiTech Air Spring Systems has developed a new Web app for smartphones. The app is customised specifically for the spare parts market in America. In doing so, the company is following up on the success of its first Web app, introduced for the European product range last year. Both apps enable users to use their smartphones to easily find the ContiTech air springs right for them. The new application shows only the air springs ContiTech offers on the spare parts market in the NAFTA region. "The American market is increasingly important for us," explains Dirk Hoffmeister, head of the Commercial Vehicle Replacement segment at ContiTech Air Spring Systems. "With the new mobile app, we aim to offer our customers a special service based on our expertise as a recognized original equipment manufacturer in the NAFTA region." As a matter of course, the product descriptions on the new Web app also meet the requirements of U.S. customers. For example, all technical data is given in imperial units.

The new Web app is available at the website, or can be loaded directly onto a smartphone by scanning the corresponding QR code found on information brochures and advertisements. The app finds the right ContiTech air spring when the user enters the competitor's designation or the OE part number. A sub-menu makes it possible for the user to additionally obtain valuable product information such as technical data and drawings based on the ContiTech online catalogue.
