(PresseBox) (Hanover / Essen , ) .
- ContiVanContact 100 - a sturdy van tire for worldwide use now available in 23 sizes
- ContiVanContact 200 - the specialist for safe transport across Europe is produced in 19 sizes

Continental has two summer tire series in production for family and commercial vans. These thoroughbred workhorses have been designed to meet different European market needs and provide the best regional tire solution for vans. This year, Continental has added to its van tire family.

The ContiVanContact 100 is an all-rounder in use around the world that can easily cope with poor road surfaces under heavy loads, while at the same time offering high mileage. Its specially reinforced carcass and strong sidewall, its stone-deflecting tread design and the strong scuff protection strip on the sidewall make this tire a particularly sturdy workhorse. Compared to its predecessor, the ContiVanContact 100 presents a ten percent reduction in rolling resistance, offering yet another advantage to transport companies who run Sprinters and the like and for whom speed and punctual delivery are key. Continental has 23 sizes available with diameters from 14 to 17 inches and load indexes of up to 121 (1,450 kg per tire).

The ContiVanContact 200 is a specialist van tire designed for use in Europe. With its sipes in the center of the tread and its grooves, it turns in a safe performance even when driving and braking on rain-drenched roads. Its macro block profile and sturdy tread center deliver precise handling even under heavy loads. At the same time, thanks to a 15 percent reduction in rolling resistance compared to its predecessor, this tire also helps to save fuel. Continental produces 19 sizes for 15-17-inch rims and approved for speeds of up to 240 km/h.
