On September 25th, 2019, the AV industry met in Uhingen for the eleventh S14 Solutions Day on the COMM-TEC GmbH premises. With over 50 exhibitors on around 1,200 square metres of exhibition space, this year's S14 Solutions Day was once again significantly larger than last year. In this year, numerous new COMM-TEC distribution partners presented themselves for the first time at the S14.
With its first event eleven years ago, COMM-TEC created an ideal platform for networking between manufacturers, specialist dealers, integrators, planners, end users, associations and the trade press of the AV industry at its location in Uhingen. In the meantime, the S14 Solutions Day has established itself as an important and annually recurring event for the entire AV industry. This year, over 50 exhibitors presented their new products and product developments on an exhibition area of around 1,200 square metres. Since the very first S14 Solutions Day in 2008, COMM-TEC has been focusing on a mix of a large trade exhibition, workshops on cutting-edge topics and, above all, personal exchange with short distances to manufacturers and experts according to the motto "companies don´t do business, people do".

This year's S14 Solutions Day focus was set on displays. COMM-TEC draw specific attention to this segment and presented the suitable large-screen solutions and transmission applications for various application areas.
At this year's S14 Solutions Day, the first synergies from COMM-TEC's affiliation to DCC Technology / Exertis could already be presented - for example, the trade exhibition featured an expanded range of racks & mounts as well as a broad range of cable solutions.
Keynote-Speaker Sarah Joyce
Sarah Joyce, Chief Global Officer at AVIXA, presented the current developments in the AV market within the framework of the keynote speech and spoke from the point of view of the industry association about both challenges, and especially opportunities, that arise in the changing market. From the industry association's point of view, new solutions and growth in the segments of digital signage, monitoring, management and control with the underlying products represent opportunities for diversifying the business: From security to music, from signage to lighting, AV solutions are the key to the right experience for consumers in all industries.
