Managing the IT base involves around 2800 computers, and more than 500 servers, 260 databases and 80 applications.
"Our success lies in the integrated, innovative approach of the turnkey global ICT solution which the partners provide to the customer. Innovation, continuous improvement of services and the application of best market practices enable us to deliver an ever-improving, innovative quality of service so that we can make improvements in terms of processes, organization and services" says Uli Penzkofer, CEO of Siemens IT Solutions and Services.
Denis Renson, Head of Unit MIS at EUROCONTROL, comments: "Outsourcing our IT services has resulted in a more cost-efficient service, with improved availability and stability and increased user satisfaction. Which is why, following a competitive tendering process, we are pleased to be renewing and even extending, the existing partnership. The collaboration between EUROCONTROL, Siemens IT Solutions and Services, Getronics and BT is excellent. It's a real partnership based on mutual trust, which makes the best possible use of the partners' expertise, flexibility and complementary nature."
