Frank Zippel is the New Regional Sales Manager for Northern Germany at Berner & Mattner
Frank Zippel, born in 1954, began his career at Wilhelm Karmann GmbH in Osnabrueck. There, he was soon responsible for the functionality of the vehicle's electrical system in the lines Scirocco and Corrado. Other stages of his career were with the companies EDAG and Salzgitter. As Managing Director of Salzgitter Automotive Engineering GmbH & Co. KG in Osnabrueck, he was in charge of project management, engineering, sales and the profitability of this division. In this role, he developed strong relationships with Audi, Bentley Motors and Bugatti.

Priorities in the collaboration with Volkswagen and other car manufacturers are projects in the fields of functional safety, model-based function development as well as AUTOSAR and virtual integration. Filling the position of Sales Manager Northern Germany and complementing the portfolio with the services stress engineering and design, Berner & Mattner is aiming at expanding the automotive business sector with Volkswagen and its national brands.
