Glasurit products have an excellent reputation all over the world. Now the BASF Coatings' paint brand is also scoring successes in the Sultanate of Oman on the Arabian Peninsula. More and more bodyshops are relying on Glasurit. Just recently, two new paint- and bodyshops joined the ranks of Glasurit fans. "However, high-quality products alone aren't enough to win new customers. We have also been able to offer the bodyshops all-around support, as well as training seminars, which definitely contributed to the success. One of the two new Glasurit customers is the Sayarti Bodyshop in Muscat, Oman's capital. The 12 spraypainters there complete 8 or 9 jobs every day, making Sayarti Bodyshop one of Muscat's leading bodyshops. Sayarti Bodyshop will be expanding this year. The shop belongs to Sayarti LLC, with whom BASF Coatings has been working in a close partnership for several months.
BMW Muscat use Glasurit paints, too - the line 90. The bodyshop has two spraybooths and employs six spraypainters.
The Sayarti Glasurit team responsible for business development in Oman has reason to be satisfied. "We have made a great deal of progress in the market and working closely with Mr Dave Jerrison the Business Development Manager based in Dubai for BASF I am certain many more bodyshops will wake up and switch to Glasurit," said Mr Carl Roy from Sayarti.
