The new powerful all-in-one video bars from Digitus

With the triumph of modern work models that enable mobile work and home offices, video conferencing has become a central topic across all industries and is now an integral part of everyday business life. Assmann Electronic creates a reliable IT infrastructure for digital and hybrid meetings with two new additions to the product portfolio of its own brand Digitus: The 4K All-in-One Video Bars DS-55580 and DS-55581 combine camera, microphone and loudspeaker in one device and are ideal for use in small and medium-sized rooms, such as seminar rooms in universities and schools or meeting rooms in companies.

The two videoconferencing systems - each equipped with an ePTZ camera in 4K ultra HD resolution - can be easily connected to the desired laptop or computer via USB, and the power supply is simultaneously ensured via the same cable. With the help of integrated AI functions, the camera position, focus and zoom are automatically adjusted so that the participants are optimally placed in the picture. The video bars also feature two (DS-55581) or four (DS-55580) integrated beamforming microphones for speech capture with an audio range of 7 meters (DS-55581) or 5 meters (DS-55580), as well as a 2-watt (DS-55581) or 5-watt (DS-55580) hi-fi speaker. The larger of the two videoconferencing systems (DS-55580) also features a second auxiliary desktop microphone that extends the voice capture range by an additional 3 meters.

Thanks to foolproof plug-and-play installation, no additional software is required to set up the video bars. Both systems can be used across platforms, have a practical remote control and can be installed upright via a stand or on the monitor via a clamping device. In addition, they have a screw thread for mounting on a tripod or stand.
