New tandem at the top of AMS Technologies

(PresseBox) (Martinsried, ) Jan Meise und Philipp Weber form the new management, heading up AMS Technologies since 1st of July 2010.

Jan Meise joined the pan-European distributor in April 2010 and as Chief Sales Officer, he is responsible for leading all sales and marketing activities. He holds a degree and a Master of Science in electrical engineering and has a broad experience in sales and marketing management from his previous positions as Director of Strategic Marketing and EMEA and APAC Sales Director at Finisar Corporation among others.

Philipp Weber, Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for all operations and finance activities since January 2010. Philipp is a fully qualified lawyer and holds a Master in International Trade (LL.M.). He joined AMS Technologies in March 2001 and has headed operations for several years. Prior to joining the hightech distributor he was responsible for establishing the legal and business consulting activity of smarterwork.

Judith de Forrest Wilson, former CEO, resigned from the operative management and joined the board of directors. Alexander Ruhl, former CFO, left AMS Technologies in June 2010.

AMS Technologies is a leading hightech distributor who specialises on three key competencies: optoelectronics, thermal management and power electronics. The company serves all Europe with sales teams in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Spain.
