Advantech, a leading global manufacturer of embedded platform solutions, releases IDS-3110, a 10.4" SVGA industrial LED open frame monitor. The new IDS-3110 has a slim and light mechanical design offering versatile choices for industrial grade display solutions. The open front bezel design enables flexible and customized face plates for easy re-engineering and is also ideal for any embedded application. IDS-3110 has integrated brackets on the chassis edges which makes installation easier. The versatile mounting methods include rear and VESA mounting (75 x 75 mm or 100 x100 mm). To meet different customer needs, IDS-3110 comes in two versions, IDS-3110 standard and IDS-3110E. IDS-3110 standard provides 400-nits brightness, and -20~60° C wide operating temperature with dual VGA and DVI signal interfaces. IDS-3110E offers a more economic version which supports 230-nits brightness and 0~45° C operating temperature with VGA signal interface only.
Slim Simplified Design for Efficient Installation
The IDS-3110 open frame monitor incorporates a simple and slim mechanical design into a two piece metal frame structure (middle frame and back cover). This simple slim design is only 30 mm thick (non-touch solution) while most competing models are over 40 mm thick. As a result, IDS-3110 provides more than 20% space saving which enables more efficient application installations. Furthermore, because of the slim mechanical design, IDS-3110's weight is reduced to 1kg (non-touch solution), while most competing models in the market are above 2kg.
LED Backlight and Wide Range Operating Temperature
Compared to traditional CCFL backlights, LED backlights allow for thinner panel designs and low power consumption. The IDS-3110 comes with an industrial grade panel and LED backlight which saves 20%~30% on power consumption and reaches higher brightness. The 400-nit brightness and 700:1 contrast ratio together brings much better visibility than common monitors particularly in environments with strong ambient light. The wide viewing angle of 160° horizontal and 140° vertical provides a wider range viewing area for end users. In addition, IDS-3110's wide range operating temperature of -20° C to 60° C makes it suitable for harsh environments.
Flexible Mounting Options: Rear Mount / VESA Mount
Designed with integrated brackets and VESA holes on the back cover, IDS-3110 provides flexible mounting options, including rear and VESA mounting, which enables simple integration with any embedded application.
- Rear Mount : Easy installation with integrated brackets using 12 x M3 screws
- VESA Mount: Compliant with standard VESA mounting holes: 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm which are suitable for display sizes under 22" or under 14kg weight.
