Advantech-DLoG has strategically realigned its management. This new alignment of the management team has made it necessary to place the coordination of the development into experienced hands. In the newly organized managerial circle, the technology center is being enhanced by a new management level and extended to include the areas of Purchasing, Service and Production. In the future Product Development will be a separate, individual department managed by the experienced senior engineers Ulrich Eiwan and Bernd Grunwald.

The core technologies of x86 and RISC system architectures control the areas of both Mechanical and Software Development. With Ulrich Eiwan and Bernd Grunwald, we have two experienced senior engineers, whose many years of experience in developing customer-specific x86 and RISC architectures can now be applied to the coordination and modulation of the developmental work for future architectures", says Thorsten Kraus, Director of Technology Center and Operations at Advantech-DLoG.
Ulrich Eiwan has been Senior Development Engineer at DLoG since 2003 and Bernd Grunwald joined the company in 1996. As of July 15th, 2012, the previous team leaders in the areas of x86 and RISC Hardware Development will jointly take over the coordinating department head functions for the area of Product Development, which features the subdivisions of X86 Hardware Development, RISC Hardware Development, Mechanical Development and Software/Operating Systems Development.
