Presented annually since 1954, the iF DESIGN AWARDS are among the distinctions in the field of industrial design carrying the most international prestige. From over 5,000 products from 53 countries submitted this year, a 58-member jury of international experts selected the best 75 designs and design concepts. Prominent among them were the stands of the new Adam Hall Group brand Gravity®. Easy on the eye and friendly to the touch, Gravity’s elegant creations were awarded the coveted hallmark of quality in the category “Microphone Stands”.
“Innovative design should give the product a voice and reflect its quality and functionality," comments Adam Hall Group CEO Alexander Pietschmann. "We are pleased that the jury also sees it like this.”
The presentation ceremony for the iF DESIGN AWARDS was on 26 February in Munich. The winning entries can also be perused with the IF DESIGN app, which is conceived as a source of inspiration, documentation and reference as well as a reflection of the latest design trends. Since its first release in 2014, the app has been downloaded 50,000 times. (It can be downloaded free of charge from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.)
In addition, the award-winning Gravity stands will be on display along with the other winning entries at the iF Design Exhibition in Hamburg. The permanent exhibition is centrally located in the HafenCity waterfront development (Hongkongstraße 6, 20457 Hamburg).
