Sterilizable Fiber Strippers for Medical Applications

(pressebox) (Olching, 12.07.2010) Sterilizable MediStrip fiber strippers were developed for use in laser medicine. This tool ensures the safe and easy removal of the buffer of an optical fiber during an operation. Special technical knowhow is not required.

These strippers are available on a standard basis for fibers with a core diameter from 200 µm - 1000 µm. Identification of the various stripper types is made possible by clearly visible laser marking on both sides of the stripper.

Repeated Sterilization Possible

These strippers function reliably even after more than 100 sterilizations inside an autoclave. Validation of the sterilization process has proven that requirements for sterile products are fulfilled after completing the sterilization process.

Quality and Support

Inhouse production guarantees not only high quality but professional support as well. Special requirements in terms of diameter may be easily accommodated. Simply send us the datasheet for your fiber and we will offer you the appropriate tool. We will even place your company logo on the tool upon request!
