(pressebox) (Olching, 18.04.2023) At the International Conference on UV LED Technologies & Applications (ICULTA), representatives from the UV LED community will be meeting from April 23 to 26, 2023, for an international technical exchange. The agenda includes innovations in semiconductor technology, disinfection as the main topic of discussion, and other application areas such as UV curing, medicine, measurement technology, and horticulture.

The conference is organized, among others, by the industry association Advanced UV for Life. LASER COMPONENTS was also actively involved in the design of the program. Dr. Olga Stroh-Vasenev, the company’s UV expert will moderate Tuesday morning’s session on UV curing.

“Disinfection is certainly the largest growth market for UV LEDs at the moment,” Stroh-Vasenev says. “Unfortunately, this has led to the neglect of other exciting application areas in public discourse. At ICULTA, we will be covering all topics concerning this industry. That’s part of the event series’ recipe for success.”
