The significantly increased user benefit consists of higher release torque and a more compact design. Furthermore, the assembly has been considerably simplified by the use of a clamping ring hub. Better concentricity, higher bearing loads, larger shaft or bore diameter and a simpler setting (scaling of the setting ring) are further improvements of the series.

The use of high-strength tempered steel with surface hardening or plasma coating of the relevant functional surfaces made it possible in some cases to double the disengaging torques.
