SC power clamping screw - maximizing the clamping force with minimal effort

The heart of the JAKOB SC power clamping screws is their unique inner workings: a specially developed wedge clamping system. This system serves as a powerful amplifier and enables extremely high clamping forces with low tightening torques. The simple, manual operation guarantees the highest operational reliability.

The SC series power clamping screws are suitable for a wide range of applications - including presses, punches, machine tools, fixture construction and equipment construction. Various sizes with graduated thread diameters and clamping forces are available.

Self-locking wedge clamping system with versatile application possibilities

Thanks to their special geometry, the SC clamping screws are self-locking in every clamping position and offer a clamping stroke of up to 3 mm. This means that clamping forces up to the nominal value can be reliably achieved regardless of the tightening torque.

Special version SC 100 - top performance with compact operation

In addition to the standard series with thread diameters of M36, M48, M64 and M80, JAKOB offers the special version SC 100. This impresses with a maximum clamping force of 250 kN with a thread of M100 x 6 - and that with a tightening torque of just 130 Nm. Operation is straightforward with a 14 mm Allen key. For precise, reproducible clamping force values, the use of a torque wrench is recommended.
