(pressebox) (Kleinwallstadt, 29.08.2023) With the compact metal bellows coupling KGE, a tailor-made solution was developed for all gearboxes with a drive flange (DIN-EN-ISO 9409-1). This system unit impresses above all with its particularly short design with maximum utilization of the rigidity of the gear. This enables the customer to have both a very compact machine design and extremely short positioning times. On the output side, the coupling is equipped with the easy-to-assemble EASY clamping hub, the all-metal design makes it particularly robust. A 6-corrugated bellows variant has been added to the tried-and-tested 2- corrugated and 4- corrugated bellows variants.

A modern micro-plasma welding process is used to create secure and permanent connections between metal bellows and stainless steel or steel hubs with reproducible quality. The welded connection meets the highest requirements, especially with regard to absolute freedom from play, high concentricity and maximum torsional rigidity.

In contrast to adhesive bonds, it is absolutely and indefinitely durable even under critical operating conditions (-50 to +300°C, chemicals).
