(pressebox) (Tornesch, 16.05.2011) As we all know, space is at a premium in switching cabinets. Therefore it is important to use wiring systems that can be optimised to meet this constraint. To achieve this, HellermannTyton developed the highly flexible and space-saving cable support Heladuct Flex.

While many wiring systems can only be installed at 90º angles, the new Heladuct Flex, made of polypropylene, allows a maximum angle of more than 90°. Additionally, cables can be easily routed in or out over the whole length of the support. This enables fast and trouble-free revisions or changes of the cable guiding.

Heladuct Flex is available in two versions: it can be rapidly mounted either with screws or an adhesive strip. The high-quality foam bonding layer of the adhesive version smoothes over irregularities in the underlying surface and works particularly well on powder-coated surfaces.

HellermannTyton offers both versions of Heladuct Flex in four different sizes with a maximum diameter of 40 mm. In addition the base material, classified to UL (File-No. 86615), is halogen-free and has excellent flame-retardant properties.
