(pressebox) (Brüggen-Bracht, 10.03.2020) This new generation of accelerometers combines the advantages of piezoelectric sensors (very high frequency) and sensors with variable capacitance (true DC response) in one housing. This gives the maximum bandwidth of DC (0 Hz) to 10 kHz, which is used so far in the industry.
Static acceleration (e.g. in curves), quasi-static vibration in the sub-1Hz range and high frequency vibration up to 10 kHz can now be measured using the same sensor.

The E.L.F. accelerometers are available with measuring ranges from 20g, 40g and 200g. They require a 5-28 VDC constant voltage at 7-9 mA. The sensors have a 4-pin M4.5 x 0.35 radial connector for signal and power supply. The lightweight titanium body weighs just 15 grams and is hermetically sealed - for use in rough environments, such as on test tracks or in space.

The 7705A series E.L.F. accelerometers are ideal for flight testing, ride quality, Health & Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS), wind turbine measurements, machinery monitoring and the widest range of structural response applications.
