This MEMS-based sensor has an extremely wide temperature range specified and calibrated from -55°C to 121°C thereby enabling use in hotter regions. With measurement ranges from ± 2 to ± 200g it also has a bandwidth from 0 to 1000 Hz for static (DC) and dynamic measurements. Its small size and the 4-pin plug, facilitate installation in hard to access spaces.

The 4835A is also IP67 protected (with an appropriate IP67 mating cable) and is corrosion resistant and very robust due to the hermetically sealed titanium housing, so that outdoor use is not a problem.

All of these properties are included in the standard scope of the sensor.
