(pressebox) (Brüggen-Bracht, 10.04.2015) The new 3333MxT series from Dytran are a family of miniature IEPE triaxial accelerometers with a low-end frequency response of 0.65 Hz, and an excellent phase response at low frequencies. The units weigh just 4 grams, have a vertical height of 0.38 inches (9.7 millimeters), and offer excellent signal-to-noise ratio.
The 3333MxT sensors feature an ultra-miniature 4-pin connector, which is at least 20% smaller than industry standard 4-pin connectors. This minimizes the influence of the cable movement and vibration on the measurement.
Offered in ranges of 200g, 1,000g and 5,000g, the models 3333M4T, 3333M5T and 3333M6T feature ceramic shear sensing elements coupled with ultra low noise JFET electronics, packaged in a robust laser welded titanium housing.
Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments. Additionally they are case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.
The isolation is achieved by adding an aluminium cup, which is also internally anodized black to avoid destroying the isolation by abrasion. This means of isolation is optionally available for other non-isolated Dytran sensors as well.
The 3333MxT series incorporate Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS; per IEEE 1451.4) capabilities for larger channel count applications.
Typical applications are modal and structural analysis, measurement of NVH (noise, vibration and harshness), the vibration control and general triaxial acceleration measurements.
