It can withstand shocks up to 10,000g. With ranges from ± 2g to ± 2,000g it can be used for various static and dynamic applications.

The 3801A is hermetically sealed and is ideally suited for harsh environments. It is gas damped in order to avoid resonances and has a mV bridge output. The sensor provides a temperature compensation for a stable performance in various operating environments.

Each accelerometer is supplied with its own traceable calibration certificate.

The sensor can be used in a wide range of applications including impact testing, structural testing, test applications, environmental simulations and different kinds of vehicle tests.
