According to a statement from Google at the end of March 2012 there are about 901 Million registered users active monthly. Google Plus boasts the figure of ca. 170 Million registered users.

What would the earth post in her profile about us humans, if she could. Earthbook shows in fast motion how "earth" develops it's virtual relationship to the human species and challenges the question, if the earth would consider being "friends" with someone who exploits her resources.

This short film is well-worth seeing and was developed as part of a scientific project analysing the future named "Erde 2012".
