When a beverage can or crown cap is opened, it must fizz. Only then can the customer be sure that the beverage container was not only securely closed, but also that the quality promise was kept.

Since March 1st, Daniel Seiler has been CEO of AT – Automation Technology GmbH together with CTO and founder Dr.-Ing. André Kasper and thus takes over the operational tasks of the previous CEO and co-founder Michael Wandelt. The expert for machine vision studied electrical engineering with a focus on communications engineering in Darmstadt and later completed an Executive MBA in Frankfurt.
With the help of the IRSX smart infrared camera, AT makes it possible to detect even the smallest component defects by the thermal signature they produce, which is a great benefit especially when inspecting printed circuit boards. The IRSX sends the results as reliable signals to the process control system. The advantages: reliable measurement results thanks to high-precision inspection and efficient production of PCBs by sorting out defective products in time.
In order to be able to inspect cast and metal parts from the powertrain area in the automotive industry in detail, a special application was required that not only guarantees reliable data, but above all also delivers fast, occlusion-free result images. Our partner aku.automation has developed exactly such a solution together with AT.
Not only 3D technology can be used for the inspection of car components. For quality assurance in plastic welding, AT has developed a turnkey application for temperature control with its WeldCheck, which is successfully used worldwide. Recently, a leading manufacturer of automotive components contracted AT to install six more WeldCheck systems, each with four IRSX infrared cameras, in Hamburg, Germany. Additional three systems were produced for the Mexico site. AT uses this special thermography
On April 6th, there will be exciting news about profile sensors in the context of the InVISION TechTalks webinar. North America is an important location for AT to expand. The priority for participation in this year's AUTOMATE trade show, which will take place from June 6th til 9th at the Huntington Place Convention Center in Detroit in the US, is correspondingly high. On site for AT at booth #5402 will be CEO Daniel Seiler, Head of Sales Athinodoros Klipfel and Business Development Director Guido Deutz, who will provide information on the launch of the new 3D C6 series as well as news on the AT IRSX smart i
