SunDriver Systems AG wins Solar Industry Award 2010 in the category "Integrated Systems"

This international award is yearly granted by the professional journal Solar PV Management published in England.

The award ceremony takes place on September 7th, 2010 on the occasion of the 25th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference which is taking place in Valencia, Spain.

The SunDriver

The SunDriver is a solar power tracking system which has been continuously developed and built according to industrial standards. With a solar surface of approx. 650 m2 he has a capacity of nearly 100 kWp.

The SunDriver is an "integrated system solution". Only high quality components (including converter and solar module) are the base for the development of the SunDriver. These components match each other perfectly.

Thus, synergy effects arise and entail that energy yields are above average.

The development of the carrier system, the converter, solar module, communication techniques, control engineering, etc. has been done in a time frame of approx. four years. The SunDriver is covered by patents.

Two different types of the SunDriver are offered:

- SunDriverTM S-600 With a width of 37 m, a total height of 10 m and a capacity of up to 100 kWp.
- SunDriverTM S-600i With a width of 37 m, a total height of 6.5 m and a capacity of up to 90 kWp.

Due to his special design of construction the S-600 is particularly suited for windy and snowy regions
