Located on the Ray Estate near Kirkwhelpington in Northumberland, Ray Wind Farm will have a total rated output of 54.4 megawatts (MW) and will produce enough electricity to power more than 30,000 homes each year. Ray Wind Farm is the first project that Senvion has signed with Vattenfall in the UK using the 3.XM platform. The first turbine installations are scheduled for July 2016.
