(PresseBox) (Buchen, ) As a terminal and electronic enclosure, the new IN-BOX range by OKW Gehäusesysteme GmbH offers many different options. A total of 9 basic sizes in different heights, a high level of robustness and impact strength (IK07-ABS / IK 08-PC) coupled with technical refinement make the plastic enclosures highly interesting for industrial applications, e.g. as control and monitoring units, measuring units, sensor applications, alarm enclosures etc.

The IN-BOX consists of one top part and one bottom part in the sizes 84 x 82 x 55/85 mm to 302 x 232 x 90/110 mm. The standard materials used are ABS (UL 94 HB) and polycarbonate (V-2) in the enclosure colour light grey (RAL 7035). The top part is also available in transparent polycarbonate (V-2). The enclosure is assembled by means of a rational stainless steel quick-action lock. The high protection class IP66/67 is achieved thanks to a seal already foamed into the groove of the top parts. The recessed surface on the top side offers optimum protection for membrane keyboards and operating elements.

There are two different ways to mount the IN-BOX series of enclosures on the wall: either direct mounting or an external fixture with separate wall mountings (in the range of accessories). When the optional internal hinge is used, the top part is secured against falling down, thus making all assembly or subsequent maintenance work easier. The following are also available as IN-BOX accessories: standard DIN-rails and mounting plates for individual installation configurations as well as a security kit to protect the enclosure from unauthorised access.

The IN-BOX range of enclosures is designed to meet individual customer requirements. If required, the enclosures or a matching foil can be printed in our own in-house Service- Center. Cutouts for interfaces can also be processed rationally, and a wide range of cable glands is available for the introduction of cables.
