Newtec ranks in top three Belgian entrepreneurial organisations

Award Nomination Recognises Exceptional Performance and Business Success

(PresseBox) (St-Niklaas, Belgium, ) Newtec has been rated one of the top three companies in Flanders, Belgium in Ernst & Young's annual Entrepreneur of the Year® award. The award, now in its 16th year, honours companies for showing outstanding growth, innovation and internationalisation. Winners from each country go on to compete against 50 of the world's best entrepreneurial organizations at the award finals in Monaco. This award is being organised by Ernst & Young in cooperation with BNP Paribas Fortis and by the quality newspaper "De Tijd".

The first satellite communication technology company ever to be selected for this award, Newtec has grown consistently through innovation, since being founded in 1985 by two engineers Dirk Breynaert and Jean-Marie Maes.
