Ole Daus-Petersen appointed to the new Executive Board

The Supervisory Board of Marenave Schiffahrts AG appointed Ole Daus-Petersen to the Company's Executive Board effective today. He follows Tobias König, who stepped down from the Executive Board as of 31 December 2013 for personal reasons.

Ole Daus-Petersen, born in 1968, looks back on more than 20 years of experience in international shipping. Recently, the native of Denmark worked in Japan as the local managing director and representative of the internationally renowned bulker and tanker shipping company J. Lauritzen.

Among other things, after completing an academic degree at the 'Copenhagen Business School' - and another later at the 'London Business School' alongside his professional commitments - Daus-Petersen began working at the well-known shipbroker SSY (Simpson Spence & Young) in 1993, where his professional milestones over the course of more than 14 years included stations at New York, Hong Kong and London - finally as Senior Director.

In addition to this international experience, Mr. Daus-Petersen also acquired extensive knowledge of the German shipping center as an independent consultant for a corporate finance advisory firm based in Hamburg and specializing in shipping.
