MAN Roland Will Become manroland

(PresseBox) (Offenbach / Main, ) As you know, MAN Roland has entered a new era since having gained independence in 2006: in future our company will be doing business under the name manroland AG.

It won't surprise you that we are to continue relying on our strong brand but with a new spelling, new typography, a new color scheme and new contents. The main intention with the creation of the new brand strategy was to modernize a brand that has a long tradition in the printing industry while ensuring that the high level of identification with this strong brand is retained in full with our employees and customers.

The first public appearance of our new look is going to take place at drupa 2008 in Düsseldorf. In the course of the second half of this year the new name, the manroland brand and the positioning will be communicated worldwide over all media.

We are pleased to have the opportunity today to briefly acquaint you with our company's new brand concept. Owing to the ownership structure changes this is the first time in our history that we can decide about our appearance independently. We are concentrating fully on WE ARE PRINT®. We want to remain successful and expand our performance culture based on our achievements in recent years.

Building on the strong awareness and the great respect the brand enjoys, a dynamic word brand has been developed. With modern typography and a purposeful color scheme, manroland harmoniously combines tradition and innovation. The aesthetics of the new appearance go beyond traditional press building; the new concept relates with the world of images in our target markets of Print and Media. It shows our enthusiasm for the industry. The new appearance embodies reliability, innovative power, inspiration, and determination. In this way we will preserve proven values and develop our competence further so as to stand by you today and in the future as a high-performance business partner.
