Brand new fluid isolation valve for the fluid management in aircraft cabins

(PresseBox) (Malente, ) For more than 50 years, Kendrion Kuhnke Automation has developed an international reputation as a renowned manufacturer in the field of fluid technology. The company has now launched a new solenoid valve that matches a wide range of applications in combination with many types of process media.

The new solenoid valve is less susceptible to contamination and aggressive media due to the separation diaphragm engineering solution. This separates the process media and solenoid providing longer life.

Depending on the application, it is even possible to use the valve in combination with materials regulated by specific authorities (such as FDA, DVGW or KTW). Due to its pressure balanced design, the valve combines compact dimensions with low power requirements. The valve’s outstanding advantages make a perfect match for all applications inside the aircraft cabin, such as toilet water supply, beverage dispensers and many more.

Kendrion Kuhnke Automation will present at the AIX 2016 its complete technology portfolio in fields, such as fluid control, solenoid technology and control technology for applications inside the cabin. For system manufacturers in application areas such as galleys, lavatories, overhead storage, seating or life support, we develop solutions from custom-designed components to complete functional modules.

We will demonstrate our Airboard® technology by integrating an electronic control board with a valve unit. This offers a lightweight and highly compact alternative to valves mounted on a sub plate with separated control electronics.
