Thanks to the integrated motherboard for the Extended ATX (EATX) standard, the new Kontron KISS 4U EATX boasts an extremely high power density and scalability - paired with flexible configurability for individual application requirements. With a total of 16 processor cores, 36 threads and up to 512 GB of DDR3 ECC RAM the industry server with its long-term availability of up to five years is the optimal solution for performance-hungry applications such as industrial imaging, medical technology, cloud computing, as well as storage and simulation applications.
Kontron's Industrial Silent Server KISS 4U EATX with its low noise level of around 35dBA is also ideally suited for applications in noise-sensitive areas like manned control rooms, in professional A/V equipment and in long-term available CAD, QS and video surveillance systems. The KISS 4U EATX also stands out from other conventional servers, as it meets tough application demands, including high shock and vibration resistance as well as hot-swappable chassis fans which can now be exchanged more conveniently via the front panel, minimizing maintenance effort. Besides the standard version with IP20 protection, there is also a variant with IP52, which protects against dust and dripping water. The operating temperature ranges from 0 to 50 °C.
