Suzhou - the place to be!
The Suzhou International Expo Center is located in the core area of Suzhou Industrial Park ( SIP) and has over 200.000 square meters of exhibition space. The Center also features state-of-the art conference facilities including simultaneous translations systems. Nicely located at the lake it is just 80 km from the Shanghai Hong Qiao Airport and 120 Km from Pu Dong International Airport. There are almost 95 trains arriving and departing in the Suzhou Railway station every day including a high speed train (35 minutes) connection with Shanghai.
Suzhou is an ideal place to combine business with pleasure. In Suzhou the ancient water towns of Zhou Zhuang, Tong Li, Mu Du, Lu Zhi, Jin Xi, Qian Deng and Sheng Zhe are the best preserved examples of a thousand year old life style south of the Yangtze River. The simple and unsophisticated streets, the long canals and water lanes, the meandering rivers, the classic bridges and world famous parks, are all a wonderful portrayal of life in Suzhou Old Town. Furthermore there is a wonderful art museum and a silk museum. So definitely worthwhile a visit or as TD Lee put it: "I don't know what paradise looks like, but if it is half as beautiful as Suzhou then it must be great"
