Apply now for the 2018 André Schroeder Research Prizes

The ITI is accepting submissions for the two prestigious awards until September 15, 2017

(PresseBox) (Basel, Switzerland, ) The International Team for Implantology (ITI), a leading academic organization dedicated to the promotion of evidence-based education and research in the field of implant dentistry, invites all researchers who have demonstrated new findings in implant dentistry and related fields to apply for the 2018 André Schroeder Research Prize for Preclinical Research or the André Schroeder Research Prize for Clinical Research. Submissions for the awards, which are presented annually by the ITI, will be accepted until September 15, 2017. The award winners will each receive CHF 10,000 as well as a gold medallion. In addition to this, the ITI will provide a flight to the official award ceremony that will be held during the ITI Congress Japan taking place in Tokyo from June 16-17, 2018, hotel accommodation for one night as well as a free congress ticket.

The André Schroeder Research Prize has been awarded to independent researchers for more than 20 years with the aim of promoting new scientific findings in implant dentistry, oral tissue regeneration and related fields. The awards are presented in honor of Professor André Schroeder, the founding ITI president, who pioneered implant dentistry and whose lifework contributed significantly to modern dentistry.

ITI International Team for Implantology

The International Team for Implantology (ITI) is an academic association that unites professionals around the world from every field of implant dentistry and related disciplines. It actively promotes networking and exchange among its membership of currently more than 15,000. ITI Fellows and Members regularly share their knowledge and expertise from research and clinical practice at meetings, courses and congresses with the objective of continuously improving treatment methods and outcomes to the benefit of their patients.
