ibidi GmbH, a supplier of solutions for Bio-Microscopy (socalled 'µ-Slides'), releases the µ-Slide Chemotaxis 3D, a chamber for chemotaxis and migration studies of nonadherent cells in 3D gel matrices.
This new slide allows the motion tracking of nonadherent chemotactically active cells like lymphocytes, dendritic cells or macrophages in different gel matrices (e.g. collagen). So far, comparable cellbased assays only allowed the analysis of migrating cells in a twodimensional fashion.
