During the hy! summit in Berlin on March 19-20, 2014, 100 of the most promising European startups will meet representatives of established industries to discuss "new technologies and new ways to innovate" at Radialsystem V. It is the fifth event of the international hy!-network, bringing together decision makers of the new and old economy to identify and realize potential growth and innovation developments in the digital society.

Embedded in a unique atmosphere, the program on March 20 offers participants introductory speeches from digital thought leaders, panel debates, exclusive fireside chats, as well as short presentations on new technologies and their strategic importance for established industries. Companies that are already confirmed include: tado, EyeEm, Kickstarter, SoundCloud, Qype, 9flats, amiando and NumberFour plus digital leaders from Google, Bosch, Siemens, Deutsche Telekom or Fraunhofer Institut.

Discussions will focus on current trend topics big data and research, e-health, security, mobility and wearable technologies. There will also be a special focus on new methods of promoting innovation at the intersection of "old" businesses and startups.

The 2014 hy! summit is being held in close cooperation with this year's WELT Economic Summit by Axel Springer SE on March 19, 2014. The confidential sessions will connect 60 leaders of the German economy, including Chancellor Angela Merkel, plus other representatives of the government and international organizations.
