ATM Birthplace hosts British Self-Service Exhibition

In just over two weeks' time, for the first time on British soil, technology-assisted customer service solution event KIOSK LONDON EXPO 2011 opens its doors for a dazzling event including a full Forum programme and industry Awards ceremony.

Supported by the most influential companies in this growing sector, together with a stimulating Forum programme, this inaugural event is set to take its place in the calendar as the essential event for everyone involved in the self-service industry, with a special emphasis on Britain.

Taking place on 19th and 20th October at the Barbican Centre in the heart of London, home of the self-service industry, where the world's first ever ATM was born in 1967, this new event will bring together suppliers, manufacturers and top blue chip companies in a vibrant atmosphere designed for networking and forging business relationships for the future. A great opportunity for European companies to make connections with the UK and vice versa.

Top decision makers, managing directors from the UK's top retail brands, airports, hospitality companies, fast food retailers and healthcare providers will all be meeting to network and do business.

The European Association For Self-Service (EAFS) will also be presenting their 2011 Awards in the categories of Best Design, Best Innovation and Best Government Project. The Awards will be presented on the evening of 19th October, with a public announcement in the Forum on 20th October.

Visitors for the show have already pre-registered from companies including: Post Office, Spectrum Interactive, Starbucks coffee company, Tesco Stores Ltd, Thomson Reuters, Virgin Atlantic Airways, La Senza, Virgin Media, Deutsche Bank, Garanti Bank, Hewlett Packard Ltd, IKEA Retail, Kodak Limited and McDonald's Europe, as well as many others.

Exhibitors including sponsors and self-service industry experts Pitney Bowes, Star Micronics and Protouch are also providing Forum seminars, which are all free for visitors to attend.
