CETECOM Now Offering LTE Conformance Testing for PTCRB

CETECOM GmbH becomes one of the first test laboratories in the world to be PTCRB accredited for LTE

(PresseBox) (Essen, ) CETECOM, a global leader in testing, certification and consulting for the wireless industry has become one of the first test laboratories in the world to be PTCRB accredited for LTE. This allows CETECOM to begin offering LTE conformance testing to device manufacturer's targeting the North American market.

During the PTCRB #59 meeting held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, U.S.A.

CETECOM GmbH became PTCRB accredited for LTE. CETECOM is one of the first test laboratories in the world to have this accreditation.

In December 2009 the CETECOM laboratory in Essen (Germany) enhanced its accredited testing service range for the mobile communications industry. The DGA "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Akkreditierung mbH" (former DATech GmbH) confirmed the testing laboratory is competent under the terms of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 to carry out tests in the field of LTE/E-UTRA.
