New System Output Destination for KODAK Capture Pro Software and OCR for AnyDoc® Automates Data Entry into Business Processes
The new SOD uses Capture Pro Software to extract specific index values and system metadata, such as job names, dates, scan operator IDs, etc. The connector also provides users the additional benefit of remote connectivity. Images and data are sent remotely from offsite locations using Capture Pro Software directly into a centralized AnyDoc environment through an AnyDoc®CAPTUREit(TM) Server, which substantially reduces processing times and saves on postage costs. These capabilities help businesses improve accuracy, minimize manual processing, reduce labor costs and increase productivity.
"This integration enables users of Capture Pro Software to leverage the power of OCR for AnyDoc for productionlevel structured and unstructured document processing," said Ken Kriz, Manager of Strategic Alliances for AnyDoc Software. "Users enjoy the featurerich interface of Capture Pro Software and seamlessly add the power of AnyDoc's advanced data capture and classification, without the need to change the capture process or retrain staff."
OCR for AnyDoc helps customers automate their data capture processes by quickly and efficiently translating scanned document images into useable data. The software offers numerous checks and balances for verifying data accuracy and clarity of images prior to moving the data downstream into specific business process systems. Users can greatly advance their daily productivity through the extensive quality assurance and validation of businesscritical data.
"Connecting to other software applications enhances the way our customers can use Capture Pro Software to make, manage and move images and information," said Bill Holley, Software Solutions Manager, Document Imaging, Kodak's Business Solutions and Services Group. "The SOD for OCR for AnyDoc provides seamless access to advanced data capture and classification technologies, strengthening the customer's initial investment in Capture Pro Software."
